Peter Colombo
Balcone is a publishing project that stems from Peter Colombo's desire to publish a photographic reportage on the train bombing phenomenon that he documented while staying in a room adjacent to Milano Lambrate station. The photographic archive collected more than 1,500 photographs taken between September 2017 and July 2018, the design intervention started from the desire to create a support capable of telling the phenomenon from a point of view unprecedented for the niche, namely the balcony. The book thus becomes a paper platform where the reader can observe the phenomenon. The book has 156 pages on which there are more than 300 photographs evenly spread over 3 sections: autumn, winter and spring. It was bound by milled paperback and produced in 100 limited copies distributed among enthusiasts and protagonists.
